THE PATH TO PERMANENT PLACEMENT
In strict compliance with child protection laws and the Nigerian Child Rights Act, all formal adoptions must be processed directly through the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development in Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Step 1: Statutory Application & Routing
Prospective adoptive parents do not apply directly to our foundation. All legal adoptions must be formally initiated through the Ministry at Abeokuta. The state ministry processes the initial expressions of interest, reviews baseline applicant qualifications, and routes the files accordingly.
Step 2: Home Studies & Eligibility Assessments
State social workers and welfare officers conduct comprehensive home studies and background clearances. This phase assesses your living environment, financial stability, emotional readiness, and overall eligibility to guarantee a secure, nurturing environment for a child.
Step 3: Legal Fostering & Court Finalization
Once an applicant is approved by the Ministry and a strategic match is made based on the child’s best interests, a mandatory, court-ordered temporary fostering period begins.
