We are proud to introduce the Listening Ears to the Widows project, a heartfelt initiative dedicated to supporting widows, elderly mothers, and abandoned women in our communities.

In certain regions of Nigeria, many women face unimaginable hardships following the loss of their loved ones. Tragically, some are stripped of their rights and are deeply affected by poverty, while a significant number of elderly mothers are left alone, often neglected, due to the overwhelming costs of home care.

A Supportive Embrace

Lady Divine Orphanage and Charity Foundation’s Widows Outreach Program was created to extend a caring hand and a listening ear to these brave women in need. The heart of this program is to empower widows, helping them rediscover their dignity, confidence, and independence.

Through this initiative, the foundation offers a comprehensive suite of services, including:
Economic Empowerment: Providing vocational training, microfinance support, and entrepreneurial guidance to help widows build sustainable livelihoods.
Emotional Support: Offering counseling, peer support groups, and emotional therapy to assist widows in coping with grief, trauma, and social isolation.
Social Connections: Creating community-based initiatives that promote friendships, connections, and a sense of belonging among widows.
Health and Wellness: Ensuring access to healthcare services, health education, and wellness programs to support both physical and mental well-being.
